Your participation in the 2020 Census is vitally important. It often determines the amount of tax dollars, grant dollars and other distributions at the federal and state level that Tucker County may be eligible to receive. The data collected in 2020 will affect Tucker County for at least a decade.
What to expect:
The 2020 census will begin advertising in January, with group housing counted in February followed by individual households being asked in March to self report online, over the phone or by paper survey. For those who don’t self report, there will be census workers going door to door beginning in May and running through July.
